Montbell was founded in 1975 in Osaka, Japan, with the goal of creating high-quality outdoor gear. Starting with raincoats and sleeping bags for Japan's rainy climate, the company has expanded to include apparel, helmets, tents, and more, all made from functional materials, for a variety of outdoor activities, including running, hiking, and camping.
