Arc'teryx is a specialty outdoor brand founded in 1989 by a group of Canadian climbers. The unique brand name is derived from ARCHAEOPTERYX, the scientific name for the "eponymous bird," and reflects the brand's philosophy of continuous innovation, just like the eponymous bird that first broke the horizon.
